One men hits another and they create a chain reaction, people started fighting each other just because one bumped into another. The bar is in chaos and the owner tries to stop them but he couldn’t. Finally Mintra arrives. When she starts singing the crowd stops to listen, they suddenly forget their rage and anger and obediently listen to Mintra’s enchanting voice.
After Mintra finish working she leaves to the parking lot. Once of her fans stops her and asked to take her to dinner. During dinner he gives her expensive jewelry, he later takes her to the elevator where he told her he wanted to show her something. While waiting for the door to open, Sitha, his sister and brother in law are in the lobby. Sitha’s brother in law spot sight of Mintra and look at her with interest, his wife see and hits him. Sitha also see Mintra, wondering why a young women would hang out with a old men, he slightly turn his head to the side in disgust.
In the hotel room. Mintra knew she had to think of a plan to get away from the old man. She quickly takes off the men glass so he can’t see, she tells him to take a bath to smell good for her, she also took out his cellphone (because earlier she knew the men wife tried to get hold of him). After taking the men to the bathroom and making sure he was bathing. She quickly takes the cellphone and finds the phone number, she calls to the men’s house. The men gets out and makes a move on Mintra, she dodge him and run into the bathroom locking it. She lied that she had a stomach ache, then a knock came on the door and she told themen she called room service. The men was irritated cause he wanted to get his groove on quickly. He went to open the door casually, to his surprised, his wife was infront of the door with a gun. She threatened to kill him and his mistress. When the wife chase the husband out of the room, Mintra finally comes out, she leans on the wall with a satisfy look.
Downstairs Sitha’s sister and her husband were still fighting since she caught him looking at other women again. The old man ran to Sitha’s sister and held her as a shield. Sitha had to come and calm the situation, it went to the extent that he had to struggle with the old women for the gun and a shot went off, the sound could be heard throughout the hotel. Mintra doesn’t care. She walks off like nothing happens.
The next day the news spread all over the newspaper. Bussaba went to the musical school where she works and couldn’t find her student in the room. When she turns back she bumps into Thanadol, the owner of the school, whom likes her. They both tried to find her student. Bussaba found her student crying in the bathroom, she wouldn’t open the door so Bussaba had to force the door open. She finds out that her student was crying because of the news of her parents fighting. The men Mintra messed with was Bussaba’s student’s father. She is shock to know what Mintra had done.
Bussaba sits on a bench near the piano, trying to think things through, but an ache knot her stomach, she felt like throwing up, she goes to the bathroom and a concern Thanadol follows her. Bussaba tells him it was okay and he should be going because it was late. When he left, a part of her told herself to pull it together, she shouldn’t feel guilty.
Bussaba visit her grandma at the hospital to find her not there, she worries and runs to the front desk. The nurse there tells her there was an emergency so they took the granny to the ER. Bussaba waits in the lobby, worried and crying to quietly, pacing back and forth. She stops when she sees a poster of Roangrong, her mother. She gets angry and tears the poster apart after remembering how she went to ask her mother to help with the hospital bills for the old lady but she denied having a child and one of her servant called a security guard to drag her out of the building. Since then she told everyone her parents where dead. The doctor update Bussaba on the old lady’s condition, she wasn’t getting any better, but Bussaba begs the doctor to help, she didn’t want to loose the only person that loved her. He tells her he’ll do what he can.
Bussaba was about to leave the hospital when a commercial of Roangrong came on. The two ladies were commenting on how Roangrong was so pretty, complimenting that she was good in everyway. Mintra comes out and yells at them, telling them you don’t personally know her, she had a child that she denied, she paced at them angrily, luckily her friend, Chorthip, came and shook her. Making Bussaba wake up from the over power of Mintra, she snaps out.
Roangrong helps with a small charity event. She gives the children drinks and food and talked to them. A bit later she felt some remorse, missing the daughter she abandon. Bussaba sits at her grandma’s bed side and beg her to to leave her. She remembers the time her parents were fighting. Her father tries to leave but her mother yells at him to stay because they both had a child together. The father doubt Bussaba being his daughter, he goes up to her, grab her head and jerk it upward “She looks nothing like me.” Her mother slaps her father and her father response back with a smack. He then left with his mistress. Bussaba tries to comfort her mother but her mother pushed her away, blaming her for their broken family. The granny takes care of Bussaba from then on, Roangrong goes to the entertainment industry and leaves Bussaba behind. She comes home to find her mother on the television screen, as an actress appearing to act loving. She gets angry and doesn’t want the tv turn on. The next day, she wakes up and the granny wasn’t in bed. The granny was outside metting Roangrong, whom came to give them some money and a bear toy. She didn’t want to meet Bussaba so she just send the message to the granny, Bussaba walks out and sees her mother, she tries to approach her but she quickly jumped into the car and drove off, leaving Bussaba to chase after the car and finally tripping. She threw the bear toy away.
Mintra is singing “Jai Mee Mai (Will There Be Anyone?)” that night day at the bar she was very emotional. Thinking of the granny, the only person whom comforted her from the pain. She was suffering as she sing, tears continue to drip down her face.
Another men wanted a date with Mintra but he told the waiter to tell him she wasn’t feeling well. The men and his servant corner Mintra as she went to her car and invites her to go with him. She sees that she couldn’t escape so she goes with them. The men takes Mintra to his mansion and have dinner with her. Mintra pretend to drop the plate breaking it, she tells him she was sorry and she would pick them up, the men told her the servants would do it but Mintra didn’t care. She reached down to grab the pieces and grip one of them into her palm to make an injury. She pretend to whine in pain, the men was worried and quickly takes Mintra into the car, telling his servant to drive quickly to the hospital.
On the ride, they stop at an intersection. Mintra thought it was an opportunity, so she told the guy to find some tissue for her wound. When the guy reached in the back to get some tissue, Mintra opens the door and fled out. As she ran down the street she was been chase by the men, she trips and roll on the street as a car screech infront of her. Sitha was heading home when he got caught in the situation. He gets out of his car and lift the women up in his arm as he kneels down, Mintra pleads him to help her. The guys demand to know who he was, he takes out his identity card and lies to them he’s a cop. His was harsh and strict to scare the men away. They pretend nothing happen and rush from the scene.
When Sitha took Mintra to the hospital she was unconcious. Sitha left a name and phone number on a napkin for Mintra just incase she needed to contact him. When she wakes up she takes a look at the name written on the napkin, to her surprise, she remembers the name. She had met Sitha before, on breif occasions, when they were kids. The granny who took care of her was a maid at the house of Sitha’s childhood girlfriend (when they grow up she gets marry to Sitha, but eventually dies of illness, mother of Nong’Da). The granny often took Bussaba there. Sitha would come to visit his childhood girlfriend and the three of them would spend their time learning music. Sitha had also given her an unwanted piano toy, which was still in her possesion. They were her motivation to becoming a music teacher.
The next day, Bussaba stays in bed and continue to stare at the napkin with Sitha’s name and phone number. Her friend, Chorthip come talk to her, wonder why she wasn’t out of bed yet. Bussaba urges her friend to leave the room because she was going to dress for work. Once her friend was out, she takes out a piano toy from her cabinet and twists the knob of the toy to make it play, the music twinkles.
Late in the afternoon, at the music school, Bussaba plays the piano in a empty room. Thanadol, the owner of the music school, gaze at her from outside the hallway. After Bussaba finish playing her song, Thanadol goes inside the room, he wanted to invite her out on a date but she display some urgency and leaves. She already knows Thanadol’s secret affection toward her, but aviod it as much as possible.
Bussaba goes to the hospital in search of Sitha, she doesn’t see him there, so she writes down a note for him, thanking him, but as Mintra. Outside, they two walks pass each other, missing each other by a second. Chorthip was reporting something on Bussaba’s mother, Bussaba came to pick her up, worriedly Chorthip rushed Bussaba to leave, she didn’t want Bussaba to meet her mother because she might be in pain. It was too late, Roangrong was getting into a car with a man, Sitha’s father. Bussaba is surprised by the sudden appearance of her mother and suffers aching in her stomach. Chorthip runs to get her water but bumps into Yootdanai, Sitha’s friend. Yootdanai wanted to lend a hand to help Bussaba when seeing her in pain, but Chorthip yanked his hand away, it was none of his business.
At home, Bussaba lay on the bed with tears streaming down, remembering the days her mom abandoned her. She had to be strong, she charges toward mirror and put on make up on, the only way to find happiness was being Mintra.
